To keep the "monthly meet" idea going do you want to plan on a meeting date / time in February? I'm open for any day really (assuming it's a weekend).

Let's start throwing some ideas out there.

oh yeah, i'm down for an offroading meet. sorry don't have any offroad experience, this is my first non-car vehicle

Hopefully, someone will knows the places.

I have no off-road experience either; however, I'm eager to learn.

The weekend of the 19th I am free in Feb. Anyone else? I have to work the other 2 weekends. Then it is pretty much every other weekend after that point.

Peters Mill out by Front Royal is pretty tame (snow makes it a bit more fun). This trail makes for a good introduction to off-roading - legal and close to DC. You shouldn't expect any damage to your truck...unless you do something really retarded...like drive blindfolded or attempt to take one of the offshooting ATV trails.

GWNF out by Harrisonburg and Crabtree Falls have quite a few trails as well.

Some of the local Xterra guys are talking about Greenridge State Forest, MD and Bobcat Trail, Blacksburg. I've never been to either.

ive done the bobcat trail in blacksburg. its not too bad. theres a washout there that i would have no chance against since im not locked yet
