Nose High Lift

I have an 04 v8 2wd with stock suspension. My question is if i keep the rear suspension stock how high would I have to lift the front to level it out? And is it possible for me to keep the rear suspension stock and install a thicker spacer to make it nose high? Because I was contemplating whether to buy a 2.5" or 3" front spacer to save money, rather than getting a full suspension lift right now, moneys tight right now.

A 1" front top-out spacer would raise the front of your truck 2", and roughly level it out. If you bought a 1.5" topout spacer for the front you'd likely end up nose high.

I have no idea why you'd want to do that, but to each their own I guess.

My bro friends convinced me it woukd look dope. And also its something different because everyone has theirs leveled and its way cheaper for me too. Do you think 2 inches in the front would work? Then I could always buy a 1" rear if I ever want to level it out sooner or later

1.5 without a rear lift will put the running boards about level, 2 without rear lift & they will be out of level a tad but not look that bad, take the running boards off & 2 wont even be noticable. 3 up front with no rear lift & eitherway it will really look nose high.

Your friends "dope" idea probably won't look as good as you think it will. That stance is primarily used in trucks such as Tacoma's. On SUV's it just looks like you have a sagging rear.

Regardless, 2" will level it out, anything else will start to make it nose high. If you want it to really look like it's got a full diaper throw a 3" front lift on it and call it a day.

You can always do the front first, and assess whether you like the stance or not. The rear suspension is a piece of cake so you can always swap the springs or add a spacer yourself if you don't like the "bro" look. Personally, I would say level it. IMO the nose-high stance looks goofy on an SUV. As I said before, it just looks like the rear is sagging.

Just make sure you do what YOU want, and not what others tell you. If you like the look, then keep it nose high. But I have a feeling you will want to level it out. Also keep in mind that whenever you drive, the nose lifts a couple inches from accelerating, physics, aerodynamics, etc. A level truck will actually be nose high when it's being driven.

If you haven't already, I would also pick up a set of Spidertrax wheel spacers. The wider stance will improve the look of your truck with the lift. They're only $99 per pair.

please dont add just a front lift. I guess your broz say it will look like a prerunner and super sick. Some many people down here in BRO-cal rock that and it looks stupid. Level is one thing but not up in the front
