Got bored after work and decided to polish the lip and ceramic coat the wheels inside and out.

Saturday can't come soon enough

Finally got around to installing the suspension and wheels. What a massive difference in ride quality and appeal. Very impressed with toytec suspension.

The fronts were the easy part once I figured to use the bottle jack to push down the uca to install the lower shock bolt.

The rear took way too long because of that PITA upper shock bolt. Ended up saying **** it and sawzawing the shock off. Everything else went on with ease.

Beginning ride height was 19 1\2 front and 20 rear. Final front with lift is 22 1\2 and 23 1\2 rear.



Even had the fiancé help out a little.

Going for an alignment tomorrow morning. Haven't driven it since I've installed the lift and wheels. Excited to get behind the wheel and feel the improvement.

Got it back from the alignment shop. Everything lined up great. Feel so much better than the factory suspension.

Also sick vw... i was into that in my previous life...stretching a 205 tire over a 9" wheel. ��

Really enjoying how this thing drives and feels. Its an entirely new rig.

Mounted the spare tire carrier up again that I had fabbed up. Need to get another SCS wheel and BFG tire and put that up there.

Well this weekend was filled with grinding, rust covering, and undercoating. Decided to tackle getting the frame done before it started getting cold.

I wouldn't mind buying one cheap enough that could use a rebuild. Would be a good learning experience.

Been trying to find a good SUV tent. With two German Shepards and the woman it would be nice for us hoo mans to sleep in the truck while the pups are in the tent.

Putting the 600lb front springs to good use and am having a front plate bumper custom made.

Going to have a winch mounted on it and want to keep it high and tight while still looking aesthetically appealing. Excited to see what the fabricator comes up with in CAD

Went to an abandoned cement mill and took some photos with the dslr camera.

I'm assuming it's front the flexing but I seem to have ripped the external trans cooler off the condenser. I used those radiator zip ties that came with the cooler. Put 2 big holes in the condenser, radiator seems to be fine and leak free. Ordered a new condenser and drier. Should be in later this week.
