When the Camry is the closest thing that Toyota has to a sporty car it's kinda sad. Toyota needs a few affordable exciting cars again since they've yet to replace the Celica and the MR-S and still no equivalent to the Supra either.

IMO, Toyota's closest sports car isn't even a car--it's the X-Runner. The tC is really a Camry coupe, from what I've read it's a really heavy car due to the panaromic roof and it doesn't handle anything like a sports car. Supposedly even the XR-S Corolla handled better than the tC.
There are rumors of a $30k-ish sports coupe based on the Lexus IS platform with the same 3.5 V6.
I hope the FT-HS moves from concept into production.
