They have been mandatory in Canada for a while, it's just poorly enforced

Gotcha. I see so many people driving around at dusk or darker with DRLs on and no friggin clue they can't bee seen from the back.

Does this apply to my 1999? I am just confused why the other thread with a 99 has the connector by the battery/fender and I do not?!
