Nothing works, please help!

Hi, I have a 2004 4Runner that just got serviced on Friday and yesterday it stopped working. Yesterday morning, the engine wouldn't turn on and the engine immobilizer light flashed. I hit the car unlock on my key a number of times and finally I was able to start my car. Last night, the car stopped working. This time nothing flashed. Nothing works. No hazards. No lights. Won't even go out of park. What can I do? I changed the battery on my key but that didn't help. Thanks!

I didn't know you could change the battery? in the key, only the remote key fob. As I understand it, the key fob battery has nothing to do with starting the vehicle. It is only for locking/unlocking and rear window down function. I am not sure, but I seem to remember a thread about the key battery, and it can eventually go bad, and at that time the only fix was to replace the key. If you have more than one key, have you tried one of them?

Have you checked the battery under the hood. Maybe it completely died.
Did you have it checked when you brought it in for service?
Could be a bad ground too.
