I guess maybe you have a few years before you catch up to CA's politics, but that sucks it's going in that direction. Maybe I'll just have to move to Alaska, buy an arsenal of assault rifles, and hole up in a bear cave with my 4runner!

For Texas, it is more like a few DECADES! Texas is pure conservative. I would not want to live anywhere else, esp now that the medical field has gotten rid of the "amulance chasers"! However, I don't mind visiting other states, especially Colorado...that is a beautiful state. California is nice but it is just too damn liberal for me.

Texas is great, I would definitely consider moving there. One of the last free states left! I've considered going up to Montana also, but they are getting mighty liberal too lately like CO.
