I agree with Greg, if we do Flagpole I'd like to run it backwards from our usual route just to change it up. If we could get a good ridge run or something different I'd like that as well.

I'll see if I can make it! Haven't been wheeling in over a year now and I've been itching for it, especially after getting my new tires on yesterday!

Well since I missed the last one, I better try to make this one.

Either or considering I get my new coil overs in and can get off of work. Just need to know which to request off.

Just updated the OP. January 16 is the day we will make the Flagpole run and I'll do the Long Rd Run on 1/23/15 if anybody is interested.

Picked up a 2002 SR5. I'm in the process of getting a few maintenance items and other minor repairs done. I'm moving next month and the new house is going to dent my mod budget but I should have a decent suspension and hopefully rims and tires by March/April.

Hey all, I am very much a beginner to off-roading, but it is something that looks awesome to me. Watching 4runners off-road on Youtube isn't cutting it anymore. I would love to get out there and ride along if possible to learn more about off-roading and see what it is like first hand to help in the search for another and where I would want to take it build wise.

I am a semi-pro photographer on the side of my 9-5 and could take pictures/video of everyone along the run!

Count me in for the 16th and/or the 23rd if a shotgun seat(s) is available!

Count me in! Finished mounting the highly modified tjm from a hilux/Tacoma for the 4Runner with a body lift.

If you plugged them both into Google Maps than it probably does look backwards because google maps will send you on the quickest route to the destination.

I based my route from my original conversation with [MENTION=97032]hearno[/MENTION] way back in the summer last year. I was not on your run this October so I'm not 100% sure which way you guys went. Based on the "hey, lets change it up a bit" response, I'm assuming you went the same way we went on our original trip.

Maybe hearno can comment on what I have in the OP and we can confirm things that way.

As a side note, the "destination" coordinate is not the end of the run for the day, but rather the end of the FlagPole run. We will still be on service roads for a short time before hitting state roads again.

We are going on the 16th to FlagPole. We may going on an GWNF exploration trip on the 23rd. I say maybe because my boss said I might have to work that day. Will confirm closer to the 23rd.

I don't have a shotgun seat available for the 16th, but I'll let you know about the 23rd closer to the date. I'm not sure if the lady will be joining me for the expeditionary trip.

I started the original Flagpole run in August

Its all good I just know the last 3 times we have went "up" on union mills to flagpole and "down" on briary branch. When I originally suggested running in reverse was to go up Briary Branch and down Union mills, Sorry if I caused any confusion!
