the first and easiest thing to check is the EFI relay/fuse. or the ignition fuse.
next, the power to the fuel pump. if you have it there, you need a fuel pump.
if you dont., there are several things that will cause the ecu to stop sending a signal to the fuel pump.
1 is the MAF sensor. you can check for leaks from the MAF to the throttle body, or in extreme cases the little door inside the sensor can get stuck closed.
2 is the distributor cap or rotor, or the coil.. if you are not gettin spark, the ecu will not send a signal to the pump, so that it wont flood.
3 is expensive... the coil ignitor... the toyota part is $600+ and it is about the size of a cell phone. autozone caries one by duralast that is 300+ i am currently running one on my 3.0 and they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY! as long as they were installe dby a professional. keep your invoice!
4 could be the ecu, but i hope not....
