OBX sport pedals questions!!

I have a question - which is probably a stupid one - but can i install the sport pedals myself or do they need to be installed by someone professional? :bash:

I am getting my new 06 runner next week and want to add those on there! Thanks!!

With some elbow grease and some sopy water you will be fine. Just lube up the rubber so it goes on easier

yeah, did it for a friend and about to do mine here this comning weekend. If you don't have them already but will soon, you'll see what I'm talking about when you turn over the pedal... Just lube up the rubber so it can be a little more easily manipulated. In fact, the instructions I believe say to use soap and water as it will help you slip the rubber backing onto the pedal itself. Enjoy!

No, they slide over the existing rubber pedals. You will have to use soap and alot of elbow grease to get them on with a gymnastic contortion of moves. Takes maybe 15 minutes.

I think somebody else also recommended making some cuts in the corners of the backside using a razor blade. Makes it easier to get the corner flaps to slip over the edges easier. Seems like it was the topic of a thread several months back.
