I don't think I would be able to make that one, That would probably be right about the end of the school year for me. Too much work always at the end of the school year. Ill be ready to go back with you guys in September though.

It's been awhile since I've been there but there used to be some fun trails meandering off around the Big Scrub area.
 
Let me talk to my hubby and see if he is game. I will not take the brand new 4Runner, in anything rough, but would trailer the ATV's to Big Scrub with it, which is nice I can park there. If you don't mind us ATV'in with you. I haven't been there myself in a long time. The last time we almost got lost. That and I was riding fast on the whoops and lost all of our drinks in the dirt. Also, it rained, but we still had a great time.
 
well greg, would you be up for it still if its just you myself and the kid ryan with the red heep? sounds like it may be a really small crowd though. im not interested in playing in the large sand pit, i mean, ill go do it, but i want to do some technical stuff also.
 
That's fine with me, as long as there's at least one person to tow me out if I get stuck in the sand :D What day were you planning to go?
 
if not this weekend, it will have to be the first weekend in june. you let me know what works best for you. saturday of this weekend would work best for me, or saturday or sunday of the first weekend in june. let me know what is easiest on your schedule
 
Crap - Mrs. GG already has my day scheduled for this Saturday, but the first weekedn of June is fine with me, either Sat or Sun.

Edit: Forgot to mention I just looked at my UF alumni association calendar and it says this saturday is "International Gator Day" :D
 
just heard abt this new place in ocala called hard rock, check it out. its 30$ a day but it might be worth it instead of driving around all day and doing nothing better than the sand whoops

That looks great - what day do you want to go? I'm clear for both days so whatever you prefer is fine with me. Hot damn I'm finally gonna climb some rocks! Maybe they imported some from Colorado :D
 
saturday works best for me... i say we meet at the citgo gas station off of HW 50 and 75 in ocala at 11:30, sound good to you? im PMing you my # cause im going to orlando tonight to visit a friend and wont always have access to a computer.
 
Should be nice and muddy, forecast for Ocala on Sat is 100% chance of "heavy rain" :D (Sunday is gonna be partly cloudy with only a 10% chance)
 
Well we decided to go do the Hardrock place in Ocala in the middle of tropical storm Barry on Saturday :D After nearly getting into a fist fight with the owner barely 10 seconds after we got there (long story :D ) the place was awesome! BIG hill climbs, mud everywhere - all three of us suffered some body damage. I had a big divot in my front right fender flare but I was able to pop the plastic back out. Never got stuck but there were a couple places where I needed some help getting up a hill, just not enough traction on my Uniroyals. I highly recommend this place to anybody in Florida.

I'll post up some pics tomorrow after I find my camera cable.
