Gorman has everything; I've done it a bunch of times in my 2001 and 2010 DblCab PreRunners and was just fine (no mod's on those trucks at the time). They have a "practice area" which is sometimes open that has some rocks which can be challenging, but you can avoid that easily (you have to aim for them!). You should be fine with a spare tire and a way to change it if necessary.

I'd be joining you all but I've got an 8:10am flight out of LAX for work. Maybe next time.

Just called Hungry Valley District office. I was told the parking lot at the North Entrance Visitor Center is a good spot to meet and when we come in we'll get a better map than what's online. Apparently it will tell us trail difficulty ratings and classifies trails as 2/4wd or bike trails.
