October rebates

Talked to a couple of salesman over the phone in Memphis.
Said the new rebates for the 2005 models are, $1500 for the V6, and $3500 for the V8.
Be gentle, it is my first post.

Ok Now I have to go to a dealership and found out if they have this going in So Cal too... I got $2500 when I bought mine about 2 months ago and I'd just be interested if I had waited a little more if I could have saved another 1K

Wonder if they have any discounts on the 06 in SoCal.

I'm sure they'll have discounts on the older models... the new ones will sell themselves. Too bad we don't get rebates here.... haggling is even hard. We just ask for free accessories instead.

Rebate in Washington area

$1500 for V6, and
$3000 for V8.

That means $3000 or $4000 below MSRP.

No wonder I saw more V8 4Runner on the street recently.

Toyota.com has them up... Seems the 2005 V6's get 2.9% financing now AND up to $1500 cash back. I'm pissed, because I just bought mine on Monday and only got 3.9% financing. I wonder if there is anything I can do?!

I doubt there is anything I can do... checking the CT Consumer Protection website:

"If you sign a contract at a dealership, it most likely is binding. An automobile is not a returnable or exchangeable commodity. There is no three-day cancellation period for motor vehicle purchases."

I got a 2005 SR5 V6 Titanium. Pretty much paid invoice for it...

Here in Arkansas (Gulf Coast Region) it is $4000 for a V8 4WD or $1k + 0% APR. V6 4WD still gets $1500 or $1k + 0% APR for 36 mo.

I've been sitting on the fence for a while. This may be just enough to push me over.

Yeah i was hoping the V8 2WD would have about a 3000 rebate. I think it is around 2000 though may be good enough for me. I will look at the prices when i get back into the country.
