ODB2 Engine Monitoring System w/alarms

Years ago I bought an engine monitoring system from someone here that not only monitored the engine in real time connected to the odb2 port; it gave me the option to set alarms for too high, low, or whatever.

I can't remember the name of the person or the device. I picked up a used Nissan Titan to go along with my 01 T4R and would like to see if these devices are available for them too.

Does anyone remember the person's name or the device. I think he made them himself so they weren't sold on Amazon or anything like that. It's still working great to this day. I just have to remember to allow the engine to run until the display on the device settles in before putting it in gear or it can throw a code.

Well I'm going to answer my own question because I found it after posting this so maybe it will help someone else.

This is the other option but I like the Ultragauge much better (visually).

Both those options, I used Torque Pro on my phone and a BAFX OBD2 Bluetooth reader, can be used to set alarms, build monitor screens, etc.

Look at ScanGauge compared to UltraGauge, to seek all options

I prefer ultra gauge over scan gauge. Ultra gauge can display more information depending on what you want to see. It can do 4, 6, or 8 parameters on a screen.

You’ll have to go on ultra gauge website faq to figure out what communication programming the new vehicle has before you order another one.
