Odd noise when stopping...Help

When stopping I am now noticing an odd noise. It is kind of hard to describe, but it sounds something like a hard plastic object rolling across a hard floor. It only happens towards the tail end of the stop, when hot, on dry pavement, but there is no noise during acceleration. I took all my accessories out of the vehicle to rule out loose items. The sound seems to be coming from the rear of my

Is it a clunk? Do you feel it or just hear it?

It is more of a grinding noise, with a vibration. My first though was maybe one of my calipers locked up and wore the pad down to the metal, but both rear pads/rotors are clean with plenty of pad material left.

First off, thanks for your help. I looked at both those posts and neither one seems to be the issue. I listened for the whine described in one of the posts you brought up and didn

Chances are, I will have my dealer come pick it up and look at it for me.

If it's metallic grinding-type noise, then i would bring it to dealer ASAP, esp. since it's coming from the rear.
