Odd popping noise when slowing down

So I have a weird popping noise and I was wondering if any of you ever encountered anything like this. It’s a few consecutive popping noises usually when I slow down sometimes when I am driving. Everything is torqued down to spec and everything is greased / lubed appropriately.

Mine does the same at low speeds, almost stopped. I think it’s the brake calipers. That’s what it sounds like to me anyway.

Yah that has been done that’s what I initially thought it was as well because I had an alignment done. It was all torqued properly.

I thought this was only when going from drive to reverse or the other way around. I’m not applying the brakes at all in this instance. Just rolling to a stop.

You haven’t had any issues with it since it started happening? I’m about to drive across to country so I’m trying to make sure everything is safe for the trip.

Found the noise, loose bolts on the spindle.

No I haven’t had any issues with mine and I’ve driven a lot and two separate off road trips.

But now I’m going to have that checked for sure. Also looking and swapping out the spindles for the beefier ones.

At first I thought you were talking about exhaust…. I was going to respond with “you know, some people pay a lot of money for that”

Mine were loose because the shop that did the spindle gussets didn’t tighten the bolts to proper torque. Disappointing, but shit happens.
