OE rubber mats question

Hi all
Just courious to know if Toyota OE rubber mats (all Weather) are a 3 piece set. (4runner 2005)
Does the rear mats cover the center tunnel like the Weathertech mats?

I don't think the Toyota all-weather mats have the center hump coverage. IIRC, I believe the cover more or less what the OEM carpet mats cover.

The Toyota OE Rubber mats are a 4 piece set and do not cover the rear center hump.

I would disagree - they do the job they were designed to do.

Of course there are other products on the market, but the OEM mats have a very attractive price.

I wasted $90 on mine, used them for a few months, then bought a set of weathertechs and threw my OEM ones in the closet. They may suite the budget and needs of some, but for anything other than wet feet and dirt, they don't do much. They only cover the same floor area as the carpet mats, they are impossible to clean, and they don't protect the middle section of carpet in the back. To some that may not matter, but for outdoor sports, snowboarding, etc, when you have people in the back, that area isn't very well cared for by passengers who don't care about where their feet go.

Not to mention the rubber wears through within a few months where it is thinner at the top. Great place to make the material thinner, right where your left foot rests every single time you are in the vehicle.

This certainly fits my needs - only 2 people in my family ski or board ( I will try to put my little one on skis this coming winter, then it will be three). I also had 4 soccer players in the truck after a game on the wet field, and the mats did what they were designed to do.

You are right. I need to replace mine for that reason after a little more than 1 year.

Sure, might as well help someone out since I don't need them. I'm not sure how much they would be to ship though. Kinda heavy with all 4 in the same box.

I agree. I bought the OEM Rubbers from my Dealer and they are useless. Wrecked the carpet. OF course we get major snow here in Alberta.

SO I got the Huskly Liners. Wow. Like night and day. Love em!

Depends where you live. We, like I said, have lots of snow and slush, so the the OEMs are adequate. If you were in Cali, they would probably be pretty good!
