I had Silverstars before and they suck. I got sick of buying bulbs that were expensive and didn't last long, so I bought the cheapest halogen bulb I could find at advance auto parts and those things outlasted them all. I replaced them with Auxito LEDS just try them out and they are ok. Nobody has highbeamed me yet. I can't really tell if they are any better than the halogens. They seem do brighter at short distances. I can't get the rubber covers to fit over them so I might go back to the cheapie halogens that are still working and sitting in a box.
