OEM 2021 TRD Pro Headlights + Harness

I've read that the full LED 2021 TRD Pro headlight assemblies won't work in earlier 5th Gen 4R's because of issues with the wiring harness.

Alpharex headlights are "5th Gen plug and play," up to model year 2020. For model year 2021 Alpharex developed and sells a custom wiring harness that allows their headlights to be plug and play on the new TRD Pros.

Let's set aside the "why would you swap 2021 OEM LED's for aftermarket" conversation.

Instead, the question is, does this harness enable pre-2021 5Gen 4R's to plug and play 2021 OEM TRD Pro headlights?

I added the 21 non pro led headlights and it was a simple pin adjustment. Someone posted a video on how to do that one. I sold my halogen lights for about $200 along with the fog lights.

As for the pro/limited harness , if someone can post a picture and we could probably get the pin configuration from the service manual. I'm happy with the LED low beams and dont really see myself swapping those out for a pro/limited headlight.

I had to de-pin my OEM harness and use them for the ‘21+ lights. Toyota no longer offers the older harness (opposite to the old headlights). The new harness on the LED headlight side is a 4-pin but you can remove it to use your old setup.

Call a dealer and ask for the pin connection set up print out in the service manual. It should be possible to get the high beams to work,

I even wonder if it is something can be coded in via software…

Either way, I WANT MY DAMN HALOGEN HIGH BEAMS TO WORK!!!
