Want to swap in a OEM android auto/apple carplay head unit.

Hi All,

I searched my fingers off but cant seem to find the thread that showed what year head units will work in my non JBL 2016 TRD Pro, as well as the link to the plug and play harness.

Many thanks in advance everyone, my wife's new to us 2023 GX spoiled me rotten.

one of the forums above I think has the part # you can look into that.

Just make sure you find one a NON JBL !!!!!! head unit. Can check the marking/ labeling on the front of head unit

Thanks All, retrofit went perfect, I love the new added convenience to my otherwise agricultural 4Runner, it is the perfect mix of old school and high-ish tech now.

I am slightly less jealous of my wife's '23 GX 460, slightly.....LOL

Nice!! enjoy the new look & feel to the 4runner. It makes a nice difference, I use carplay about 95% of the time.
