OEM 3RD Row seat?????

Has anyone installed an oem 3rd row to thier 4r? my wife wants to have a 3rd row really bad. eace:

No personal experience here, but I remember reading a thread saying it wasn't an easy swap. The biggest thing is the floorpan is completely different between the models.

The second row seat is different in three row seat 4Runners. The seat back fold flat and tumbles forward, much like the GX470's. They also recline, where as two row seat 4Runners the seat back is at a fixed angle.

The cargo area side panels are also different as the rear seats mount off the wheel wells for the hinge to flip up for storage.

It would be very expensive to add, if not impossible.

Buy the wife a minivan and tell her to step off the 4runner...lol...my wife wants the same thing but I'm not willing to try and install it.
