OEM Bumper Guard

Judging by the trend from the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (not available in the U.S., less luxurios brother of the Lexus GX 470), I suppose Toyota will start delivering 4Runners with a standard Bumper Guard in 2007 or 2008.

This would be the only guard that would look OEM.

I'm seriously considering a JAOS Center Protector to install Hella Rallye 4000 CELIS lights, but I'm afraid I would make it look non-OEM or too bling-bling.
The modern design of the 4th Generation 4Runner calls for a plastic bumper trim.

Another interesting option that was never available to the U.S. was the Electrically Retractable Rear Mirror (Attached to the rear spoiler):

It makes me wonder why Toyota doesn't make these options available for the U.S. market.

Not sure if I like those bumper trims. Those just looks and no practicality. If it had winch in it or better yet-machine gun I would want it

Hey Offroader they make a Toyota bumper gard for the 4Runner, I think some people have posted pictures here. I have the rear view mirrors built into the rear colums on the inside instead of the spoiler. I bet you can get those mirrors if you don't have them.

OEM is too expensive and does not work. those plastic parts will crack as soon as you lightly tap something. my bull bar has survived a 5mph impact with a brick wall so far. someone else on this forum has pictures of their cracked OEM bumper guard.

That OEM bumper guard came on my SE, hell I think it added $500 to the MSRP. It is just for looks and at first I did not even like the way it looked. But it grew on me and now I think it looks good on my Titanium SE, just don't want to hit anything with it.

I surely hope Toyota won't start shipping the 4Runner with that guard. If it breaks, which doesn't take much, you either have to replace it or look at a few holes in your front bumper. I know first hand:http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8749&highlight=bumper

Now it would be nice if they made the OEM guard out of a material other than cheap plastic because I think it looks pretty good!
