OEM Fog light replacement?

I've been tasked with replacing the OEM driver's side fog light in my dad's '05 4Runner(the price for modifying cars as a hobby). The seal failed on the original, so I sourced a used one to toss in there.

I looked at the replacement and it's not extremely obvious how it would attach/come out. It feels like it's attached to the light adjacent to it, but I didn't see any external releases/catches like some cars have.

Do you need to remove the fender liner and go in from that direction, or is it something you can do looking up behind the bumper?

If I remember, the fog lamp is attached to the turn signal lamp assy... And on the other side(liscence plate side), you need to remove 2 screws and release claw fittings.
Disconnect the connectors first..then push outward while your other hand is pulling it.

I accessed the fog infront of the wheel/tire, I removed 2-3 screws of that plastic sheet(I don't know how to call it)..

Thanks, going in from the fender liner proved to be the trick. Took about 10 mins start to finish, so not bad at all.

In case anybody else has this question, there are two bolts with 10mm hex heads holding the fog light in, one on the inboard side, one on the aft/back side of it. You could probably get to it all without taking the fender liner partially off, but it was easier getting to the back bolt through that opening.

how many miles does the truck has?
i have 25600 miles and its a 07, i had my dealer do a goodwill warranty for me on both my foglights, so if my fog lights glass come off the housing again they will replace it for free, they said i have 1 year warranty on all parts, so its 1 year from this month, also i had to argue with them to make them do it, manager said its a gray area on the warranty, but isnt this a bumper to bumper thing?

haha - I have more time turning wrenches in my free time than I'd like to admit.

And yes, it's an '05 4Runner with 103k miles on it. This is the only thing to fail on the truck in all that driving. Pretty good record if I do say so myself.

The claw fitting seemed like a *****. And it was...in the end, I wound up putting a long thin flat head screw driver between the fog and turn signal and wiggled it as I pushed from the back...popped out...
