OEM-look CB radio

As some of you know, while others don't, I almost feel uneasy when something doesn't look OEM. I'd like to see some pictures of your guys' CB radios/mounting to get some ideas. If you've got something really OEM-looking, set the font LIKE THIS so I don't miss it!

My own personal holy grail is somehow hooking it up through a touch screen infotainment unit and using blue tooth mics... But apparently we don't have that technology available at this time...

Be interested to see what people post.

Also what about HAM! Its not just for sammiches!

Personally I don't care for cluttering my truck with stuff like radios so my CB is a Cobra 75 WX ST with the junction box mounted stuffed inside the center console by the shifter and my HAM is mounted inside the console itself.

Sorry, no big red font because they make me feel uneasy.

I know [MENTION=55855]zopperman[/MENTION] mounted his in the pocket in front of the console lid. I think I've seen an install with it in the glovebox too. But outside of those you'll have to cut/fabricate panels to get a truly OEM look. Could also mount the CB under the center console armrest (mount it to the underside). Then it would be out of sight til you needed it.

I'll second Blackworksinc suggestion for a HAM. Some units have remote mounting faceplates which can afford you a much sleeker/low profile installation. Obviously this requires a bit more work and a HAM license (easy test to take).

Yep! You have me wanting a HAM setup too, eventually.

I think it looks and fits pretty well. I know [MENTION=90013]HHIRunner[/MENTION] just did his CB the same way.
