You're definitely going to regret going with Mo0G for inner & outer TRE. Several folks here have written about their disappointment 1 year after replacing the tire rods with cheap aftermarket.
 
I thought ive read tie rods was the one thing people said doesn't matter if its oem or not and the price diff is huge!. I have read people get rust with aftermarket ones but I dont get rust where I live so that not an issue.

Price difference is huge for a reason.

Go with Toyota when it comes to ball joints and tie rods and be done and safe.
 
I installed the same Moog parts April 2009, that is 100k miles ago. Changed them out last month because they had 100k miles on them. They were still tight you could tell they had miles on them.
 
I have OEM outers and MOOG inners. the OEM inners are almost triple the price of OEM (in Canada) if I recall correctly.

I don't put a lot of mileage or abuse (ie: wheeling) on my 4Runner, so I wasn't overly concerned with choosing MOOG for the inners.
 
When I did my outers I called the dealer for a price primarily because I was hoping they'd have them in stock, and it turned out they were half the price what I was quoted for aftermarket. No Brainer!
 
Just to let you know the 555 is junk as well, and is the supplier for many aftermarket brands.
Camelback has outer for 53.90 each, inner for 150 each

I had to buy an aftermarket inner just because firestone diagnose one is bad, but gladly I said don't install it. After coming home, I inspected the inner and found nothing wrong with it. I still have an unused/unopened inner (aftermarket). If you want it I can ship it out on your dime.

I ran duralast gold inner and outter for 5 years. I keep the outter as spare on my truck incase OEM breaks and I need to get home. With that said. When I got new OEM steering rack. It came OEM inners.
 
I had fitment issues with MOOG outer tie rods a few weeks ago and a bad issue with a MOOG UBJ. Now I am sticking with either OEM or the cheapest parts in the parts house to get me to the next paycheck when I can get the OEM parts.
 
The non OEM inners failed within 30 days on my new rack I bought. Bought some napa part store ones and they failed also within a few months. I then installed one new OEM and reinstalled my old 200k miles inner on the other side and still are both solid.

Outers are cheap for OEM, go OEM. OEM OEM OEM

Some may not know this but Amayama has some crazy cheap prices on geniuine Toyota parts. I believe the oem inners are really cheap on their site. It may seem like a long delivery time from Japan but it actually about a week or two. Mine came in 7 days.

I just placed an order for bearing, races, gear, snap ring, seals, etc for rear axle and it was all $96 shipped. Just the bearing itself is $72 here in the US.

The Moog branded ITREs are actually 555. The OTREs are made by Moog. So far no issues. There are rumors that non OEM ITREs don't have the same "droop" as the OEMs which might be a problem when offroading. However I have't seen any evidence of this so would be curious if anyone could compare these parts.
 
Brotherman Mike,
Replaced both sets 6 months ago - Eat in one night and spend the extra $ on OEM. Don't skimp on this part. Think kids safety
