OEM roof rack on my 2000??

Is this an OEM roof rack on my 2000 4runner or something else? The crossbars are removed as I was in the process of installing a Baja rack but the 2 long rails that screw into the roof do not work with their supplied mounts!!!
Something does not seem right..

That looks different than the OEM rack on my 01 4Runner...

I'm no expert but I have looked at quite a few at the junk yards and never seen one like that.... I wonder how the middle strips are held on??

That doesn't look like an OEM rack. I'd suggest getting one (or at least the long mounts) from the junkyard. I think I paid $50 for a full rack a few year ago. Any year 3rd gen will work.
