OEM Running Board End Caps?

I bought some OEM running boards off craigslist but it turns out the end caps match up to wheel flares.

Problem is my 2002 4Runner doesn't have wheel flares, oops. Is it possible to replace the end caps with these?

I think they are glued/pinned on but I could be wrong. flip your running boards over and see how your end caps are attached, It will be the same for the other style of caps.

lol, you just bought running boards, I just removed mine. haha.

Yeah, it looks like I can unscrew and remove the end caps, but where can I buy end caps like the ones in my picture?

they have pretty much been discontinued from toyota so getting them from a dealership most likely wont happen. you will need to scour the for sale thread, craigslist, and junkyards. They were also hella expensive from toyota

Yeah most of us myself included remove the running boards. Increases ground clearance and imo looks much better. Sliders are the way to go.
