Oem Seat Covers On Ebay

I found an ebay store that has oem seat covers for front and back for about $160 shipped. The problem is that they are from 4th and 5th gen 4runners. They have them from other toyota vehicles as well. Does anyone know how close the size of seats are between the 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen runners?

So with these you remove the entire covering on the old seats and replace with the new ones? I looked at my 4Runner and couldn't see how one would accomplish this.

The FSM goes over how to disassemble the seat, and remove the seat covers:

DISASSEMBLY
1. REMOVE HEADREST
2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE
Remove the screw and reclining adjuster release handle.
3. REMOVE OUTER SHIELD
Remove the screw and outer shield.
4. REMOVE INNER SHIELD
Remove the screw and inner shield.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt.
6. REMOVE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the hooks.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and seatback assembly.
7. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER
(a) Remove the headrest supports.
(b) Remove the seatback frame from the seatback cover with pad.
(c) Remove the hog rings.
(d) Remove the seatback cover from the pad.
8. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
Remove the 4 bolts and seat cushion assembly from the seat adjuster.
9. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion frame from the seat cushion cover with pad.
(b) Remove the silencer from the seat cushion frame.
(c) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
10. REMOVE RECLINING CONNECTING PIPE
Remove the reclining connecting pipe and 2 silencers.
11. REMOVE EQUALIZING WIRE
12. REMOVE INSIDE INNER SHIELD
Remove the 2 screws and inside inner shield.
13. REMOVE OUTSIDE INNER SHIELD
Remove the 2 screws and outside inner shield.

good luck finding some for a 3rd gen.. I have looked for sometime and came up with nothing.

Yep. I emailed the seller and he said they aren't available for the 3rd gens.
