OEM Spare?

Hi Folks,

Lowered the spare for the first time since buying my ‘06 4Runner V8 Limited with 6-spoke limited rims, and discovered it was a standard 5-spoke rim. Is this normal or did someone pull a switcheroo on the car at some point?

To my knowledge, all models came with a matching spare, so something switched over at some point for sure. Although it could have even happened at the dealership.. "Quick, we need a 6-spoke! Take this spare and we'll replace it later."

I may have an 4Gen 18" Limited alloy wheel in Fairfax, Va. in about a week or so, if you are interested.

Both our Limiteds came with matching alloys.
