OEM Toyota Ski Rack

I noticed that Toyota now offers a ski rack for the 4runners in their 2006 Toyota 4runner Accessories brochure. Anyone know if this is the same as Yakima or Thule and its just been rebadged as Toyota? I've read a couple of threads where 4R owners have complained of noise and rumbling with ski racks and was wondering if these new factory ski racks will be any better. Obviously, if they are just rebadged Yakimas or Thules, it won't be making any difference.

It's a rebadged Thule. Either Thule or Yakima (Note Sig) work great on the factory rack.

I have one of the factory ski racks if you are interested at buying one at a very discounted rate. I recieved it from the dealer and needed one that can handle 4 snowboards so I have this extra one now. PM me if you are interested. Thanks

Thanks but I was looking for one that would accomodate 4 snowboards as well. I guess I'll just order me a Yakima rack.

The Thule 725 racks (4 snowboard/6 pair skis) will handle up to 4 snowboards, plus its color matches that of the SE factory roof racks!! Looks great!
