Thanks Boudin, that would keep me away from changing! what do you attribute the loss of MPG to? tire design??

The overall weight of wheel/tire and tread design if I had to guess. I may up the pressure some to see if it helps, as long as I'm not measuring any uneven tread wear. I do a lot of interstate driving so every bit helps. [emoji6]

Recently I bought 4 slightly used TRD wheels from this guy in Houston for $350 total. I think this is a great deal since I sold my 5-Stars for $200.

The next step is to wrap them in Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 285s!

I'm looking at a set of these right now for my 98 SR5. Did you run into any issues or problems with them?

And a noob question. Will a stock height(for now) hold 265/75R16 BFG AT KO?

Not exactly what you were asking about but I have these on a stock 99 with 275/70R16 KO2s and I have no problems with rubbing, even at full lock.

The FJ Cruiser wheels I have are awesome in my opinion. I currently am running 285 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs. See my build thread for more details. You shouldn't have any issues with 265s.

These wheels will also accommodate the Tundra brake upgrade.

Thanks for the help guys! Think I found a good deal on 4 rims and tires with 5k miles or less on the tires and wanted to make sure they would fit before I got them. Both answers helped a lot! I'll try to get some pics up once I get them!

I know I took a few before I put the lift and current wheels on but for some reason I just cannot find them. I'll look again.

Living in the Great White North, you need 2 sets.
My Summers are 16" 2000 Ltd rims
Front:

Rear:

The front and rear have different centre caps, not sure which ones I like the most---- so I just leave them!

And my Winters are 17" off a Sequoia, not sure what year...

These are my favorite!
