I didnt put in a vin and my skid plate order went through.

I'm in the same position as you, I didn't add a VIN and was able to purchase.
 
Thank you for the shipping code. I placed my order through McGeorge Toyota as well. Had real good luck with them in the past. $215 for the skid plate isn't bad at all
 
Real tempted to get the skid plate as well for $215 shipped. But think the wife would kill me if I spend even more money.

yes you should be able to make the purchase without a vin. I placed an order for the skid plate and a trd wheel for the spare.

Just a fyi, I purchased from Magnussens Toyota in Palo Alto and without shipping it came out to be $562.44.
 
New skid fit older 4r?

The skid plate says it only fits 2018/2019 but I don't think anything changed. Anyone have any issues putting this new skid on a 2017 or older (without kdss)? Also, does anyone know if you need to buy the hardware kit for it?
 
Haven't found them - anyone look for or find the fox TRD Pro shocks? The shocks I see listed in the performance set are only the earlier bilstein set.
 
I wanted to wait a little longer to get the TRD Pro wheels so I can buy bigger A/T tires at the same time when the stock ones wear out. But $516 is just too good to pass up.

Now the dilemma is to put stock tires on the new TRD wheels (which looks a little goofy) or just shelve them until it’s time for new tires.
