I called earlier today. Dude on the phone couldn't of cared less, then told me after 40 seconds I had to email to get an answer even though in the email it says I can call.
I sent an email so we will see.

Dang guys...I didn't realize I got mine so fast. I placed the order late on April 3rd - I'm in San Diego so I think the time change allowed me to get in on the sale a little early. I elected for local pickup at El Cajon Toyota and was called on April 4th at 4pm saying they were ready. I had them mounted this morning since I couldn't wait! lol
Didn't plan on getting new wheels until I was ready to upgrade my tires, but like so many others the deal was too good to pass up - so now I'm telling myself it doesn't look all that bad with the stock Dumb-lops. :laugh:

Roseville Toyota replied to my email:
"Hello!
Thank you for your email. I have just checked on your special order wheels.
We received a large batch order just this morning of special order wheels.
Your wheels are still on order from Toyota, they just received a large shipment to their San Francisco distribution center.
We should receive your set tomorrow morning, and they will get shipped out tomorrow afternoon.
Thank you for your patience as we sift through our many orders. We appreciate your business."

I am not surprised about the customer service. I tried to buy a 4R from them, they couldve cared less. So i went to another dealer and was in and out in 3 hours.
Its good to know that yours is shipping. Hopefully mine too, or soon.

Im in the same boat. Was going to wait and upgrade to some 285's but that could be a while. Not sure if I want to swap the factory tires over or just bit the bullet and get some new tires.

I received my oil filters and I am pretty sure it said made in USA

lol. i was trying to make a joke. no reason for his oil filters to be taking that long with all these people getting their TRD wheels in less time.

It's crazy, but the sale was not given any publicity, and it seems that less than half of Toyota dealers even participated.
only one dealer within a reasonable drive is part of the online network, and they shut down their online sales just after they opened Friday because of the volume of orders they had waiting on them.
The sale was posted on FB - that is plenty of publicity. You had people trying to order 2 days in advance not seeing a discount but not realizing the date of the sale.

Funny, but a lot of people on this site didn't know about it.
I even follow Toyota on FB, and aside from the ads, I never see anything from them.

Oh I hear ya - I think this is going to make me upgrade the tires sooner than I originally planned.
I'm just trying to spread out the expenses so I don't end up looking at the bank account like :wow:.
