Off road in the UK

Whats up guys and gals,
I am taking the 4runner off road today for the first time here in England. I found out there is an off-road park a few miles from where I live, so me and some friends from work are heading there today. Hopefully I can get some good pics to post and it will be like you guys where right there with me. haha

The day went well. We all had a blast and only one of us had any real damage.

Here is one of me working on the truck at 5 in the morning. The clock on the camera is still on east cost time, if there was any confusion about that. And I am pretty sure it was below 0*F... ya.

1 4runner, minus running bords. Much better.

Thats me in the green helping my buddy Peach get out of a tight, wet spot. His first of many recoveries.

There were 4 of us and a few others out there.

Peach again, stuck in the worst bog in the place. This one ended the day, after many attempts we just couldn't get him out. We ended up waiting for a tractor to pull him to freedom.

Thats 2 trucks trying to pull him through...

The 4runner was, in my opinion, the best vehicle out of the bunch. I have some vidioes of them trying to climb a hill that I powered up my first time. The hill was similar to the one I was having troble with in Florida a few months back, but this hill was steeper and a little more technical. It has a middle section that is near verticle and at the bottom of the hill is a frozen pond.

After Peach went down the hill to brake the 3in thick ice (and smash his frnt right quarter), I approched the hill throught the big puddle, gassed it to get some momentum for the steep section. I guess I made it look easy but it took everyone else several trys. I wanted to do it one more time before we moved on but the wife was saying once was enough. She's usually the voice of reason.

Great times, I can't wait to go back. There is a mud bog that is calling my name.

So how do you like driving on the left in a LHD vehicle?

Really, its not bad at all. The hardest part is switching back and forth between driving the 4runner and my 94 Evo II wich is RHD.

Its the turn signals and wipers being opposite that really screws you up.

I know what you mean, I'm always messing that up when I switch between cars!
I find that hardest part about driving LHD on the left or RHD on the right is when you want to overtake something like a big truck, because you have to virtually get fully into the other lane before you can see if the coast is clear. :bugeye:
