off road lights

I would caution on mounting lights on the 99+ bumpers because there isnt a stable platform for them to mount to. I did the same on mine till the wobbly light was too much. Trust me thats why I mounted the light the way I did now.

Mounting Options

If you are looking for a way to mount them, I couldn't be happier with my Defiant Truck Products Light bar...I have 3-7" Kragen HID's mounted up and the thing is solid!

Tell Paul I sent you, ;-)

3 lights?? why 3??

because it was proportionate, fits the framework of the grill with out intruding on the headlights, 1 is aimed straight and the other 2 are angled out just slightly...they throw TONS of light.

Paul can build the bar with 2, 3 or 4 light tabs spaced to fit what ever size lights you want.

Get yourself some KC Hilights. They are medium price and throw some really good light. They look good and have a metal cover plus if something goes wrong replacement parts are easy to find.

way to go on the thread revival.... but hey at least you are useing the search tool/function of the forum so thats a plus 10 for you!

now about those PIF MSR800/900 lights... i have a set of them on my rig and yes, they are worth every penny they cost. by far the best lights i have owned. and i have had KCs, Hellas, PIAA, cheap and cheaper ect ect ect. while i like PIAA and will always recommend them as they have probably the best package to offer, those IPFs are no joke. the pattern is second to none, the light output is the best i have ever had the pleasure of owning/using, and the quality of the lamp is top shelf. having had cheal lights in the past, i will never go back to another cheap light again, the patterns/beams are crap, the general overall quality of the lamps are crap... you get what you pay for.
