Off-roading in Tropical Storm Barry

Hey all, myself, RunnerUp and a Jeep buddy went to the Hardrock MX place near Ocala which just opened up a new area for 4x4s (www.hardrockmx.com). This place would be pretty challenging under normal conditions, but we decided to make things more difficult for ourselves by going in the middle of Tropical Storm Barry

After nearly getting into a fist fight with the owner barely 10 seconds after we got there (long story) the place was awesome! BIG hill climbs, super slippery mud everywhere - all three of us suffered some body damage. At one point I thought I was gonna slide off the edge of a cliff - this place apparently was a quarry or something so there were some scary dropoffs. I had a big divot in my front right fender flare but fortunately I was able to pop the plastic back out - still got a big scrape though Anyway, I highly recommend this place to anybody in Florida - I definitely plan to go back.

This hill was super slippery and tilted at the top - coming back the other way RunnerUp had to pull me over.

awesome pics greg, i had a great time out there and need to go back really soon! i know you have more pics than that!! now i gotta go take a picture of my body damage and you should take a picture of yours just so i can see what it looks like after you pulled it out.

I'll take a picture and probably post it tomorrow. I forgot to take a pic of the fender flare before I popped it out - would have been neat to see a before and after

damage pic 2, the entire thing was smushed in, couldn't open the passenger door either. I unscrewed the flare and was able to smush it back out by hand - then I used a screwdriver covered with a rag to pry the fender back out far enough so the door could open
