Off roading spots in Galveston, Tx.

hi guys,

my friends and i will be going to galveston, texas this coming weekend for a little r/r. we would like to try some off-roading while we're there. does anyone whose familiar with the area know of some off-roading trails in galveston that we could try?

didn't you say you were from houston? have you been to galveston? if yes, what about sand off-roading sites in galveston? know of any?

Yeah, i am near Houston. i haven't had the chance to off-road in Galveston. I usually stay away from salty beaches due to corrosion...yeah, i know, i am anal with those things.

Have fun...and clean your cars VERY CAREFULLY afterwards!
