use caution on the 4wheel parts ordering, all they do is look in a catalog and order the same thing you would from your home computer. i feel they have a major lack of knowledge

Thanks for the heads up, Moto. This is my 1st 4x4 so I don't know much yet. I'm basically going to just do some window shopping right now and get a few basic necessities for the trails. I'm not going to do any upgrades until I read up a lot more on here and talk to others out on the trails.

Yes I just got that to today thats why I also posted Wyatt's # also so people could give him a call they are big on Toyota SAS conversions. Wyatt the owner used to be part of Demello Offroad then went out on his own but still works very close with them. I'm sure they will have the site back up soon.

At the Big Bear Toyota event in August Wyatt said he was looking for a nice 3rd gen to do a SAS on and plans on marketing a kit.

Well, I stopped over at 4 wheel parts to look around. Pretty cool people over there. Answered all of my noob questions and gave me some advice on where to go for my 1st off-road outing. I'll still have to check out the other placed you all suggested sometime.

Stay away from 4WP.
They just f***ed up my front locker install and have to redo the whole damn thing and I'm fighting with them about it right now. Luckily I know a lot more about my 4runner than they do. I was hesitant to bring it there but they were running a deal I couldn't pass up. $212 to install a front ARB. Now I get to drive back and forth to Riverside however many times until they fix it. They may even need to buy me 1/2 of the clamshell assembly because they drilled the air tube hole in the wrong spot and my tube melted on my oil pan. They may plug it and redrill, but that hasn't been decided yet. Do yourself a favor and walk away.

That sucks Brian I remember talking about this before you had the work done. To bad they proved to be reliable, reliably screwing things up that is :vader::gun6::rant::hunter::gun5::lasercannon::sniper::ak472::flamethrwoer2::50cal::gun4::AK47:

Yeah I pretty much expected this out of them. I'm sure if my truck was a Ford F-250, lifted 11 inches on 33s with some 22" Rockstars they would be able to whip that out no problem, but since I'm not a "bro" they don't know what to do with it, LOL. It's disappointing, but I'm sure it'll work someday soon.
