If your trail riding, and camping, maybe a little mudding, I think you would be fine. I would be cautious about doing any hardcore rock crawling outside the occasional tree or small creek.

planing on lifthing my runner w spacer...found some on ebay that 2.5" rear and 3" front..what do u guys think...?

I Have had mine in on my truck for years, go wheelin quite often, never had an issue...
Nothing extremely hardcore but definitely some tough trails and rocky terrain.
Wouldnt have been able to do half the stuff I can without them and the larger tires they accomidate. Hardly even effect the handling at all. I say go for it, its an inexpensive and fairly easy way to lift your truck, and if you dont like it, which you will, you can easily take the kit out also.

A friend of mine who builds offroad trucks for a living put a 2.5" Daystar lift on his 3rd gen 4Runner and is running 36" TSL's. He has taken it thru some tough trails without problems. I don't see how a spacer lift can be dangerous.

the only way I could see it posing a threat is if you were treating it like a pre runner and jumping it... they could come out of position in the rear i suppose, although mine went in pretty g$% da*& tight so thats also a slim chance...
dont worry about it, not dangerous...

I'm not sure about the dangerous thing. But, if you have the newer Daystar 2.5" kit, which is all-topspacer, you could break a shock or damage other components when wheeled hard. This is due to the shock bottoming out before the factory bumpstops engage.
