Just had a big 2 day snowstorm here, and now the sky is clear and it is super cold. And all that snow and water on the 4runner is turning to solid ice. I can't get any of the doors to open to save my life, I feel like I'm gonna rip the sheet metal right off them if I pull too hard.

That happened here last year. We had an ice storm that dropped six inches of ice on us over two days. My truck was under a solid 2 inches of ice. I broke two scrapers just trying to get to the door handle. I finally poured hot water over the door...I know thats frowned upom, but that's the only thing that would work!

Have any of you guys mounted flags (for like the dessert or beach dunes) on your Runners? Where/how did you do it?

I've got a CB mount (and, ironically, no CB yet), do flags mount the same way a CB antenna do?

ya the ones i bought from the dunes have a wing bolt and a threaded bung at the bottom

ARB bumpers have 2 light/cb mounts built in on the top hoop. They are perfect for mounting flags. Perfect excuse to go out and buy a bumper if you don't have one yet!

I hate having a permit. You can drive, but just not by yourself. Definitely sucks. Don't get my license until July 17th.
