Offical 3rd gen BS thread

Yeah yeah yeah. I know what I should do. It's not certain I will be getting a s/c, but more of a hope. I think I can swing both if I play my cards right and I get a good raise.
 
I was just cruising craigslist for some parts and I see a thread "'97 4runner Limited CHEAP" so i click on it and its a dude from my school that wrecked just totaled his runner! So now I get to go pick parts off his truck... and have no competition for the most bad ass one at school! Whats better than that?!
 
Begin rant:

Thought I'd make a joke on the 5th gen subforum. All in good fun, maybe get on the good side of a few folks I haven't met.

Some douche who trolled T4R said he drove a 2011 SLS AMG, his kids had R8 V10 spyder and BMW M6s, etc... username Lexus LX.

Thought it was funny, so I grabbed some pics of a 2012 SLS AMG I was driving around in (I work for Mercedes, not my car by any means). Showed a pic next to the 4Runner and another of if in the driveway, as if I just traded the 4Runner for it.

I honestly thought it was a reasonably entertaining post, seeing as someone who clearly doesn't own this vehicle can post more fake proof of owning a car than someone who claims to actually have one.

Instead, nothing but confused 50 year olds with stick on window visors (send me the writeup on that!) and retail tow hitches as mods. Felt like I was in 16th century Europe, and I just farted in the dinner room of a lords castle.

I may have told you all that I built my cargo box to fit a CV axle, and on trail runs I do have one in there.
