What a ****ty end to my day at work. I really do think that I really dont like the people that I work with, and in this economy unfortunately there's not to many options for jobs.

I also miss living by myself. My parents moved in with me about a year and a half ago due to some medical issues that they needed to have addressed and they don't really go anywhere, they are always here. When I leave to go to work, they are here. When I get home from work, they are here. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but I do miss my "alone" sanctuary that used to be my house.

It seems like the only time I really enjoy in my day is the 15 minutes to and the 15 minutes from work everyday when I get to just hop in my truck and relax for a minute.

Oh well :happens: then you die I guess

trust me man in this economy its lucky to have a job, people at work, **** them, just pretent they dont exist and do your own stuff, as for living i know most people love their parents but living with your parents when your grown ass man is not healthy it creates a lot of problems, do they have their own house?

gathering parts for the SAS to come shortly...

I like the set up this guy did ...Its a slick way to mount... Now to ditch the adapter wouldn't be a bad idea, less parts to worry about.. I wonder if there is enough clearance between the shock body/tires/ and frame at full articulation. Now if you were to c out the frame I think you would be good. However, that is a bit of work to do correctly. The Jeep guys do it all the time with these

Poly Performance JEEP/TRUCK & BUGGY :: Shock Mounting Kits :: Synergy Suspension TJ/LJ Budget Front Shock Mount Bracket - 4X4 Off-Road Parts, JK Synergy Suspension Systems, Fox Racing Shox, Beard, CNC Brakes, Johnny Joints®, Currie Enterprises, Edelb

When are you going to SAS?

And about the shock mount, I like what this guy did:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/84942-scoobydanns-against-grain-build.html

I am working out the same thing right now, making designs and templates. Except with an Eye on the top instead of a stud. The 5125's are eyes on both ends with an eye-to-stud adapter. I want to ditch said adapter and stick with the eye.

Any input on this as a fabricator?

I flexed it out the other day to test it. Plus the wheels I use have a lot less backspacing than normal, which pushes them out like spacers would. There will be enough room, barely.

I got busted trying to take the slide handle to a Pella tilt-out window on a plane in my briefcase. My explanation that it was needed to fix a window at my mother's in Florida was not persuasive. I had to check my leather briefcase--grrrrrr--and of course, they scratched it up.

of course, the idiot that does luggage doesn't give a *****..

Durk, at least you are not in cali with all the stupid laws.

you jelly?

Nah, just pulling your chain and having fun with it.

BS is forum wide, not just a 3rd Gen thing. Thought you might want to expand it and not be so exclusive. Then again that's BS because I can still post and reply here.

Enjoying the BS.

I like how the thread name is spelled wrong. :jk:

Really though, who thought two toned paint jobs were a good idea? Damn you Toyota for my Topaz Metallic! :gun4:

I use my 97's more than my 99's, i just keep phone and wallet in the lower cupholders.

You don't off road much do ya'? You can set two 3/4 soda cans in the center console and bounce down a trail and not spill, those dash cupholders spill if you just turn too hard but they are good if you want a drink cold in the summer and hot in the winter.

I hated them in my '97 and I might of bought my '99 for the cupholders alone if it wasn't for the scoop, rear locker, sunroof and various mid gen upgrades;did I say scoop? hehe
