Here are the pics as promised! Only thing I haven't done yet is repaint the scoop and matching mesh and dye the lower plastic part of the bumper, the upper was done before I remounted my light bar.

Hey, that really turned out nice! That will be super sharp to match your mesh...I attempt to do that, but I didn't quite have enough mesh left over. And I didn't think it would be worth the money to order more mesh.

Thanks! I ordered a scrap piece of mesh from customcargrills.com. I paid like $2 for the mesh and then like $9 shipping on it haha

The painted grill looks a lot better...but then again I've never been a big fan of chrome :thumb3:

What are you going to do with your bumper??
 
Hey guys...I was born and raised in Texas and still have some family down there. Anyway...I was told that yall went back to the old skool solid Black with white lettering licenses plate?? I really dig thoes black plates...they really look good!!

Gosh...I really miss liven down there in Texas!! Be smart guys...never leave!!
 
The Texas plates are printed (not painted) on a thin sheet of metal. In the old days prisoners made plates that were stamped (or embossed) to make the letters and numbers raised and then they were painted.

I love the license plate options that Texas has, they have so many and many that look great, like the white on black. Very simple and clean looking. Alabama has some of the ugliest plates and not many options available...

That's how they are here in Alabama now too. Probably a lot cheaper to do it that way.
 
Here's mine with the matching mesh in the grille and scoop painted with a satin black, SEM Honda Black Bumper Coater to be specific.


Sorry the truck is so dirty in these pics...

I removed my Sport hood from SURF RUNNER 1.0 before I sold it. Below are a couple of photos of SURF RUNNER 2.0 with my old Sport hood reinstalled.
