I too had a hard time but finally found Tim's Toyota in Prescott. Although once they see the returned truck they may never ever rent them again.

Seriously, so far they have been good to work with.

I think Hertz does, FWIW, but only in certain geographic areas. I know they did in Eagle, CO at the airport.

Yeah, saw that thread shortly after I posted that. :redface: I was hoping to get to the Expo, but I had the in-laws in town this week/end. I think I'm going to head up to Flagstaff next weekend to do some camping in my new trailer (which I'm picking-up in CO this week).

Definitely invite yourself over next time! Love it out here.

Yeah, saw that thread shortly after I posted that. :redface: I was hoping to get to the Expo, but I had the in-laws in town this week/end. I think I'm going to head up to Flagstaff next weekend to do some camping in my new trailer (which I'm picking-up in CO this week).

Did a little camping up on the Mogollon Rim this weekend. Tons of FJ guys up there. Quite a bit of pinstriping, but the pines up north are much nicer to paint than the mesquites down here.

I dig the bumper. What made you go with the ARB? If I remember right you had said previously you did not like its design? Either way, looks great on your truck!

Thanks man. I went with the ARB for a couple reasons - wasn't willing to wait 6-8 months for Shrockworks (yeah, I've read the other thread but nothing is worth waiting that long for to me), and it's the only one that's airbag approved. It's actually much smaller in person than it looks in the pics.

Wow, that Tundra just dwarfs that XJ, even with a 3(?) inch lift on the latter. Of course, my 5th gen dwarfs my XJ when parked next to it as well, but not that bad.

He definitely had that advantage on the trails. While I was dragging trees on my roof and doors he was duckin' right under them. It is my father in law's XJ. Sierra Expeditions just put an OME kit on it a couple weeks ago, waiting on wheels and tires now.

truck looks good. werent u previous running a Radflo 2.0 setup? did u upgrade the suspension to support the winch/bumper combo?

Thanks. Yeah, I was running the Radflo 2.0 but it was already struggling a bit from the weight of the skid plates, sliders, and tent so I figured the bumper and winch would push the front coilovers over the line. As it was, the extra weight toasted the ball joints and bushings on both front shocks.

Oh no! I just installed sliders and about to put my skids on. I don't like reading this as I'm running Radflo 2.0. I'm also hearing some noises which I believe to be from my bearings.

Yeah, the 2.0s are just not made to take that kind of extra weight. After I put on the skids and sliders I had to really crank them to regain the height I lost which made the ride a lot harsher. Sorry it might not have been what you wanted to hear...
