Official 5th Gen T4R Off-Road pics

Yeah, the 2.0s are just not made to take that kind of extra weight. After I put on the skids and sliders I had to really crank them to regain the height I lost which made the ride a lot harsher. Sorry it might not have been what you wanted to hear...

Would replacing the 600lb spring with the 650lb spring from the 2.5 remedy this?

Honestly couldn't tell you. I know when I bought mine Andries said that if I added a lot of weight the 2.0s wouldn't hold up. At the time I didn't think I'd ever get more than sliders, let alone full skids, winch, bumper, and RTT, so I went with the 2.0 instead of the 2.5. Maybe if you contact Radflo they can tell you if it can be done and what the trade off would be, but the ball joints and bushings didn't hold up for me so even with stiffer springs that's still going to be a weak point.

cbielat, talk to phillyd2, he has 2.5 Radflow up front and I think 2.0 in the back with SAW coils and his 4r is geared with full length skid plates, sliders and winch up front. I saw his truck and it looks amazing. I almost went with the same setup as his, but I got better deal on Icons.

A little afternoon fun up Old Stage Rd....

After we had had our fun, it was back to business...we had to get the embryo's to the dock before the ship left for the mainland:

Thank you for the heads up. I'll have to contact them and see what they say. I too didn't think I'd be getting into this off road thing as much as I am. It's addicting!

Thanks for the info Alex. I know quite a bit of people run this set up. I'll reach out to him and see what his thoughts are.

i had the the radflo 2.0 w 650lb coils and i had to crank the bejesus outta them w budbuild skids, rro sliders and hidden winch set up. this was the reason i upgraded to the ICON also. i hope to have a front bumper and dual battery set up by summer's end. if need be ill upgrade to either the eibach or king 700lb springs.

the radflo 2.0 were great w stock weight and even hidden winch set up imo.

I don't know what to do now. Just when I thought I was understanding everything lol. Even with only my sliders on, I think the truck sagged a little lower. I really don't want to buy a whole new suspension set up but it may be what it'll come to.

Some pics from yesterday on Poughkeepsie Gulch. That trail is no joke, and pictures really, really, don't do it justice.

I noticed too that pictures never do justice, can imagine how it really feels.
didn't see any spotters on the pictures - were you travelled alone? And looks like there were not many trees to use winch in case you need it : )
