Looks pretty damn good to me...

Looks like blurry crap to me. Shot on night mode, off hand, on my (fairly high end) POS, er Point and Shoot. I think I (obviously) need a tripod, with longer exposure and lower ISO. File says f/4.8 (which I don't understand), 1/80 sec exposure, 800 ISO and 3.2 aperture.

Coral Canyon

Went to Corral Canyon this last weekend (Dec 13th). I had the lesser of the three trucks (barely) but it was a blast. We finally got some rain down here in SoCal and the trails were sloppy as hell. I had to take my truck in for service the next day with mud chunks still falling off. I saw the ICON truck in Julian two weeks ago. Not sure what the story's there but nice truck.

The wife and I decided to spend Christmas out in the desert. First stop was Ocotillo Wells. We then went up Fish Creek Wash to Sandstone Canyon. Fish Creek Wash and Sandstone Canyon are amazing. Pictures don't do them justice. Finally, we followed the train tracks from the gypsum mine back to Plaster City.

I love that whole area, haven't taken my 4Runner there yet, spent a lot of time around in anza on my discovery though. Can't wait to try it see how the 4Runner does out there in comparison

My wife and I were there too. We were in the black TE. Saw you from the Wind Caves and again while grillin' in Sandstone Canyon. Great Christmas day.

Round two at Corral Canyon. We got into some more difficult trails than last time. There were a few built up YJs up there but we didn't see anyone on the trails. There were more than a couple tight butthole moments but I made it out with only a few new scratches on my rear bumper. I was incredibly impressed with how well my truck did. This was the most fun I've had in my truck.

We had a great first trip to Calico. Next time we hope to have more time to make it all the way up Doran. We finished odessa and half of doran before we had to head back. We had alot of help/local knowledge from the SoCal chapter of TLCA club that was out there.

Yes, I think they call that obstacle "pucker pass."

Tough to tell from the pics, but in the vid, you can see the rocks giving way and falling into the canyon. It was about 6-10' drop depending on where you over. Definitely dont want slip.

I was picturing a 300-1000 ft drop off, but your description, and the 2nd guy standing in the bottom in the video ruined it. Either way, I think I would have wussed out on that one.

I used to have an '82 SR5 that looked just like that white one. Nice to see them still around. That thing was indestructible. I sold mine for $3000 back in 1997 with well over 210,000 miles.
