You're brave doing Golden Spike with stock bumpers. How'd the rear bumper fare?

As far as the crushed tail pipe, I just cut mine a couple inches shorter and it doesn't get crushed any more, the bumper takes all the punishment.

Running any Moab trails tomorrow? I'll probably be in the neighborhood.

Yeah, Golden Spike on stock bumpers and minimal lift like mine was risky. I made it fine other than the minimal carnage pictured and the rear bumper just needs a minor dent in the passenger side popped out. [MENTION=95188]Sponge Bob[/MENTION] tore off some of the plastic clips on his rear and it's not fitting too well now, though. His larger lift and tires prevented any front bumper damage on Golden Crack, however. Overall, the 4Runners did great, and other than one nicely built 80 series Land Cruiser and a Jeep Cherokee that blew its t-case output, we were the only non Jeep Wranglers on the trail, and of course the only IFS rigs.
Poison Spider/Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim were awesome trails and I had a ton of fun on them, but they were at the absolute upper limits of difficulty I would want to do again with my current setup. The sliders and skids took a beating today. We were lucky to have a nicely built 4 door JK Rubicon as the third vehicle in our group. He strapped me over one high center situation and winched us up the last huge ledge on Gold Bar Rim; which is extremely dug out now. Other than that, I didn't need any assistance and only bypassed a few obstacles.

I'm leaving tomorrow, but will be around until late morning If you wanted to just meet up for a moment in town. We managed to miss each other last year when I was here.

Edit. I should mention that Texas has vehicle inspections and your exhaust must exit out from under the vehicle so I don't think I can just cut it off.

I can pop out the bumper dent, I've had to do it before! But absolutely considering the exhaust reroute. It was crushed worse actually, the picture was after we opened it up a bit.

I ripped my rear exit off climbing out of a creek. Dude at a muffler shop modified it to a side exit for $50 and it took him about 40 minutes. I wasn't concerned with a fancy tip though, that might cost extra.

We were both at 16 psi. I know you can go lower, but we got plenty of sidewall flex at that pressure.

We took a drive out to Fish Creek Wash and Sandstone Canyon last night. Unfortunately since the last time I was out there, there has been a new rock slide not too far into the canyon. This sucks as you can't get to the really cool narrow parts of the canyon anymore.

I was just there on Oct. 12th and didn't see that. Did you notify a ranger to let them know?
