Forgive my noobness, but what are the point of the flags sticking up? So others can see you over the dunes?

2+ hours of sitting... and thinking... If I wouldn't need new springs in the rear, and a host of other things (including a larger budget), there would be no hesitation. haha. Someday I will, and it will be incredible. Until then, still happy with what I have :bravo: Trust me, Luke mentioned "the package" a number of times while I was there as they had a front bumper sitting right next to the rear... How much does your rear weigh?

No idea. I got the package deal since Luke used my truck to mock up the 14+ front bumper. But enough to where the HD Metal Tech Springs could be heavier with everything loaded.

Yeah, I know for a fact that the stockers wouldn't handle that much ass-weight. Further down the list it goes for now. Like I said, I am good for the summer!

Forgive my noobness, but what are the point of the flags sticking up? So others can see you over the dunes?

In Oregon it is required to have a nine foot high visibility flags on our rigs in the dunes. It is so others don't collide with you peaking a dune.

What did you use to mount the flags on your 4Runner? I see them attached to your rear windows. I'm planning a trip out to Pismo Beach this summer and looking for a way to mount a flag. Thanks!

SoCal_Trail,
They are called Sticky Whips, suction cups that go on body panels or glass and they have never come off and I rail hard in the sand! Attached is a screenshot of their website. Have fun and post pics!!
