What’s going on w/ the different side mirrors?

Some have a chrome looking indicator and others are blacked out?

The Pro doesn't have turn signals in the side mirror, so it's just black. Some 4runner and Tacoma trim levels do have the turn signals in the mirrors.

Not sure how many others are waiting on the Eibach Fox Pro lift coils, but thought I would share more info I came across on the GXOR FB group:

The specs of the front coils for the TRD Fox Pro setup is 12.6" long, 600lb, 2.5" inner diameter.

The original poster apparently has a friend that works for Fox and got him this info. In discussing lifts, they mentioned one big potential issue that arises from either a spacer lift or coil lift is that the TRD Pro shock has 4 compression and 3 rebound zones, so if you extend (or contract with weight) the coilover too much you will be riding in the incorrect zone, making the ride either too stiff or too soft at an inopportune time.

The Fox employee thought a 0.4" longer coil would be perfect but thought much taller could move you to the wrong zone.

What this mean, is that you *could potentially* use a readily available major brand coilover coil to gain a small lift. One they were going to use is the standard Icon 13" 650lb coil spring. (With it being only 0.4" taller)

ICON 13" X 650 LB COIL SPRING FOR 2.5" COILOVERS

If my math is correct, (And it may not be..not my strong suit) a 0.4" longer spring that also has a stiffer rate should give at least 0.8-1" lift.

I'm waiting to hear back from Ryan at Eibach to hear their thoughts on this.. and what length/weight of spring they are using for their 1.8" lift.

For all I know the info given could be completely wrong... but they did seem to have more info than I had seen previously.
Anyways, do with this what you will, and use at your own discretion.

After having a spacer lift on my Fox for about 3 months, I can tell you that in my opinion, the spacers made the truck feel much better than stock. Definitely wasn't softer, and it wasn't a stiff harsh ride either. It stiffened it up just a little bit and also helped to eliminate some of the notorious nose dive.

Had i not wanted more adjustability to fine tune the ride height, and the ability to soften/stiffen it up, then I 100% would have left the spacers on the Fox suspension.

Interesting... I was thinking 1.8 inch higher is waayy too much. 1.00 would be perfect. Too much lift is overrated

.

I currently have the cornfed spacers up front as well, havent really noticed any difference in city/highway driving, but then again I havent really put many of the rebound/compression zones to the test.
I do think that a bigger coil is a much better solution than spacers though...so sitting patiently waiting for the RED coils.

Well, my new roof rack finally came in and I was able to successfully get the old one off with no issues. Man those bolts were tight!! There were a couple that were so tight that I would have sworn I was tightening them. Very nerve racking but I couldn't be happier with the new SSO rack.

Thanks for answering my question on the Gramm why you went with SSO vs Gobi. I’m looking at SSO for my rig now :).

Morimoto XB headlights are on their way to me, leveling is next and SSO will follow..

Awesome man! Looking forward to seeing it. Yeah i just wasn't a fan of the Gobi personally. I'm sure its great, and they definitely have a cult like following lol, but I love how low profile the SSO, Prinsu, and Victory style racks are.

The coating, are perfect and this thing feels solid as a rock. Definitely happy with the choice.

Was wondering if you could get more pics of the rack?

It finally arrived!

Picked it up last night. Came with Running boards and Sliding Cargo deck...running boards might have to go. I love the sliding cargo deck!
