Its a BMG . Made by a my local class 3 dealer / fabricator. They pulled a sparrow apart next to theirs for me and theirs was higher quality and less expensive. Pretty easy to make if you have the proper tools and paperwork.

It sucks that people in some states are less "free" than others. Nice gun though, and hopefully your new addition is approved soon.
Here are a few of my recent purchases. Dont really have any good pics of the rest of my collection that are worth posting.
I like the scrollwork, esp on the chamber. I'm also jealous of the Magpul goodies on that 870.... the stuff for the 500 will be out this Fall supposedly.

BTW - I wanted to throw a quick shout-out to Primary Arms. I bought a couple of red dots from them when I was getting my AR stuff together. Their optics seem to have good reviews and reasonable prices, but that's not even what this is about. I signed up for some email notifications for some products that I was waiting on... mainly the Magpul iPhone 5 covers and PMAGs. I'm probably signed up for notifications on 2 dozen sights. Most of them don't ever seem to get stock, or when they did, the prices were totally jacked up.
However, with PA, I've gotten notifications on 3 separate products. When I checked the site, they were actually in stock and at normal, reasonable retail prices. They offer multiple shipping options, including basic USPS parcel to help bring the overall costs down. And best of all, they ship within a day or two each time.
There aren't too many companies operating this way in the hysteria, but I have been really pleased with them and will continue to buy from them, well, while I still can.

Marshall over at PA is a stand up guy. I've run a few PA red dots on various 22lr and they've all held up to normal usage and maintained zero. I actually just ordered a new micro red dot for a 22lr last week. ordered it at 10pm wed night, shipping notification by 6am the following morning and delivered to my door step on Sat.
If you haven't already, sign up for notification on AIMSurplus.com. They are another site that hasn't raised their prices - Superbowl Sunday they were selling the Gen 2 30rd PMags for $12.95 each. Got the notification during halftime and my buddies were able to pick up 5 a piece.
Ammo has been coming back locally as of late. 9mm and 22lr are at pre-panic prices with .223 being a little elevated but available. One thing that some stores are doing is taking the bulk 1000 223 packs and breaking them out selling them in bags of 20 and limiting how many you can purchase to make sure everyone has a chance to get some.

I haven't seen any ammo at all here in ct.since probably the week after the Newtown shooting. Its like we have been cut off. My wife thought i was kidding when i told her i was going to get ammo the day after because i knew this would happen. I could have bought an AR but ammo was the priority.The stores literally only have 410 , some 243 and a box of 22shot shells. 40 cal 9mm ,22, 223 is almost impossible to get. Prices are high as hell. Been like that for a while now. Its so bad that they are using the ammo shelves for other stuff now. The amount coming in is so small and there are too many people right on top of it. I'm not hurting for ammo , but until it is readily available I can't justify shooting much if any of what I have.

I hear you. it was like that here for the most part since the shooting. At one LGS, before the panic, they used to have pallets in the center walkway with stacks of common ammo calibers (9mm, 22lr, 223/556, 45, 40, 762x39, etc). I went there the day after the shooting and each pallet was bare and they had guys waiting around for them to bring more ammo from the back.
As for stores taking advantage, there is a store in WA that was selling 22lr federal 525 bulk packs for $80 each, $50 for 50 rd of 9mm, etc. Sadly there were more than a few people that were so desperate, they decided to pay that price. That store will never get a dime of my money ever. We still have people lining up outside of our local walmarts in the morning wait for ammo shipments.
Luckily, I stockpiled enough ammo prior to the panic that I've been able to continue shooting and introducing/educating new shooters during the shortage. Yes, I'm a bit more mindful of how much i shoot per trip but not enough to stop me from going. Definitely going through more 22lr than before.

Here are the comparison pics we talked about regarding the Model 22 .40 cal. Glock Gen 3 and Gen 4.
The Gen 4 has more aggressive texture for a better grip, med and large backstraps (pic shows no backstrap added). Larger mag release.
Gen 3 on the right, Gen 4 on the left. The Gen 4 has a beefier locking block and a wider channel between the rails to accommodate the larger recoil spring assembly.
The Gen 3 on top has a single flat wire captive spring. The Gen 4 below has a dual round wire captive spring.
Slightly different extractor. Gen 3 on top.
The Gen 4 on the bottom has a slightly larger ejector.
The Gen 4 magazine has several small areas where the metal frame is exposed. The cartridge appears to ride slightly higher in the Gen 4. I've shot using Gen 3 magazines in the Gen 4 without any issues. Haven't tried it the other way around.
I'm sure there are more differences. Those are just the obvious ones. They both shoot the same and both have had zero malfunctions. I do however like the grip of the Gen 4 much better.

The answer is no. Here in WA, you submit your tax stamp at the time of purchase since the suppressor's serial number is required on the document. The dealer then removes it from the shelves and holds it in the back until your paperwork comes through. So in essence you own the suppressor so they cannot sell it to another individual.

Handl Defense Scar 25 lower for the Scar 17, 1,000 rounds of 7.62X51, and a few .308 pmags (CA compliant). The Scar 25 is a lower, machined out of billet 7075-T6 aluminum and replaces the oem polymer lower. It allows me to use SR25/M110 compatible magazines like the pmag .308. Proprietary Scar 17 mags are about as easy to find as unicorns.

Quick update - I ordered PMAGs Monday night and they arrived this morning. They also had some of the window PMAGs pop up today (got the alert) and I ordered some of them as well.
In contrast, I ordered PMAGs from Kentucky Gun Co on March 31st and they have yet to ship.

Congrats on the delivery!! Especially the .308 (only caliber I can't find locally). Were you able to find a LPK for it as well? I really like how the lower is machined to separate the mag release and the bolt release.

Thanks Kevin! I can find some of the parts for the lower but about half of what I need to build a complete lower is "out of stock". For now I'm just going to switch over all the parts to the new lower. I'm going to collect parts for the OEM unit as I can get them and build it up to be a complete lower.

Looks awesome, Dave!! Sooooo....complete rifle, 10 "unproven" Pmags and a box full of ammo to test them. Sounds like a fun weekend to me. Although considering your current "work schedule", i guess opportunities to shoot isn't limited to the weekend.:becky:
The only thing that appears to be missing is the paddle ambi mag release, right? Its really cool to see the different trigger design of the Geissele super SCAR vs the AR-15 version.
